Frequently asked questions
What is a screw pile?
A steel pile with a helix that is screwed into the ground and carries loads immediately – without excavation or concrete.
Which pile do I need?
Decks, fences and garden structures: Mini. Heat pumps and AC units: Mini with frame. Modular and timber buildings: Ø76. Containers and BESS: Ø90. Carports, PV and steel halls: Ø130. Send us the structure and load and we recommend the right pile.
Can I install them myself?
Mini ground screws, yes – with an impact wrench and a 24 mm socket. Ø76, Ø90 and Ø130 piles are installed by machine at controlled torque; we can quote installation.
Can screw piles be removed?
Yes. They can be unscrewed and reused – ideal for temporary structures, leased land and projects with a defined lifetime.
Not sure which model fits?
Send us your site, the number of spaces or the load – we recommend the right solution.
