This privacy policy explains how we process personal data when you use steelvo.eu. Last updated: October 2026.

We have not appointed a data protection officer. For data protection questions write to info@optipoint.eu.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, EU) as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit the site, the server records technical data such as IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer and browser. We process this data to deliver the website securely and detect misuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period unless needed to investigate a security incident.
3. Quote list in your browser
Products you add to your quote request are stored only in your own browser (local storage) so that the list is kept while you browse. This data is not transmitted to us until you send the form, and you can delete it at any time by removing the items or clearing your browser data. This is strictly necessary to provide the function you requested (§ 25(2) TDDDG).
4. Quote requests and contact
When you send a quote request or contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide – name, company, e-mail, phone, country, site location, customer type, selected products and your message – to prepare an offer and answer your questions. The request is stored in our website’s database and sent to our business mailbox; you receive a confirmation e-mail. To protect the form against abuse we briefly process your IP address (spam protection).
Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where your request concerns products of our manufacturing partners in the EU, we pass on the information needed for the offer, delivery or installation to them for that purpose only.
We delete enquiry data once it is no longer needed, at the latest three years after our last contact, unless statutory retention obligations (commercial and tax law) require longer storage.
5. Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Bunny Fonts, a service of BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia, EU), which does not log IP addresses of visitors for font requests according to the provider. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a uniform presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Cookies and consent
We use technically necessary cookies, for example to remember your language (Polylang) and to keep editors signed in. Other cookies – for statistics – are only set if you agree in our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer. Details: see our cookie policy.
6a. Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), integrated via the Google Site Kit plugin. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how visitors use the website (e.g. pages viewed, time spent, approximate location, device and browser, and whether a quote request was sent). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. We use the reports to improve the website and our offer. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, Google Analytics does not set cookies (Google Consent Mode). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR). Data is retained for 14 months. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Recipients and international transfers
We share personal data only with service providers who support us in operating the website and handling enquiries (hosting, e-mail), with manufacturing and installation partners as described in section 4, and where legally required. Apart from Google Analytics (with your consent, see section 6a), we do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact info@optipoint.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw), or the authority in your country of residence or work.
9. Further information
Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot prepare an offer. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
